Hello, I am Jae Ung, building Chalkak alone. I read every message myself and usually reply within 48 hours.

Yes — tap the word on the card and rename it. Type what the object actually is in English, and Chalkak will redo the Korean word from your correction. Only your typed text is sent, not the photo.
Everything you collect lives on your device only. Photos you confirm are sent once, over an encrypted connection, to generate the Korean name — they are not stored on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Delete a catch from its card, or delete the app to remove everything. There is no account and no server-side copy, so deleting the app deletes your data completely.
Cutting the sticker out of your photo happens on your device, but naming the object in Korean uses our server. If you’re offline, your catch is saved and will be named when you’re back online.
Chalkak needs camera permission to catch objects. Open iOS Settings → Chalkak and make sure Camera is allowed.
