We operate the mobile application Chalkak (the “App”), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the “Legal Terms”) (collectively, the “Services”).

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and unglazed concerning your access to and use of the Services. By using the Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Legal Terms, you must discontinue use immediately.
Chalkak is a camera app for collecting Korean vocabulary: you photograph objects, the app turns them into stickers and names them in Korean. The information provided when using the Services is not intended for distribution in any jurisdiction where such distribution would be contrary to law.
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including the app’s design, graphics, and software. You retain all rights to the photos you capture. Provided you comply with these Legal Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.
By using the Services, you represent that: (1) you have the legal capacity to agree to these Legal Terms; (2) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, or you have received parental permission to use the Services; (3) you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. You agree not to: systematically retrieve data from the Services to create a collection or database; circumvent or interfere with security-related features; upload or transmit material that infringes any third party’s rights; use the Services in a manner that violates applicable law; attempt to reverse engineer the App or its server interfaces; or use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
The naming feature relies on third-party infrastructure and models (Google Firebase and the Gemini API). Word results are machine-generated and provided for learning enjoyment; we do not guarantee their accuracy. We are not responsible for third-party services’ availability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES AND YOUR USE THEREOF.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
These Legal Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of South Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may revise these Legal Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date. By continuing to use the Services after revised Legal Terms are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
